Description

Sunsets are often one of the first subjects people want to photograph as they can be so beautiful! However, mastering a few simple techniques and embracing some fresh creative ideas can really take the photos to the next level.

Regardless of your experience or equipment, we hope to help make sunset and sunrises a sure-fire opportunity for great pictures. Our introductory, 1.5-hour video tutorial will cover all the basic ideas you should need to capture classic sunset shots plus some extra thoughts on making the most of the opportunities you encounter. The talk will over:

  • Exposing for classic sunsets

  • Thinking about framing

  • Enhancing colours

  • Looking for Silhouettes

  • Opportunities for reflections

  • Waiting longer for different colours

The format of a live call means that unlike listening to a recording, your tutor can tailor the conversation for everyone, making sure everyone is understanding and provide an opportunity for delegates to ask any specific questions as we move through the sessions content.

This course is aimed at anyone who wants to master shooting sunset images. Ideally delegates should have a camera with some control, but even modern smart phones should enable us to adjust our pictures to improve the results we achieve. If you are unsure of the suitability of this tutorial for your camera or experience – just get in touch!
