Description

Taking pictures is in many ways such a simple idea. However, in reality it can seem amazingly complicated and technical. Very often those new to photography can be disappointed with their results and the vast amount of advice that’s available, can make it all very confusing!

Our ‘8 Great Ideas for Better Pictures’ tutorial, is a super place to start, helping you to get strong content in your photos, regardless of your experience or type of camera.

During the 1.5-hour live video call, the tutor will run through 8 simple techniques for getting your pictures to look more crafted and effective. The content is not especially technical, but instead looks at creating some guidelines for turning the scene in front of you into photographs that better capture the story you wish to tell.

After a brief introduction, the tutor will run through each of the 8 ideas, illustrating the points with everyday examples. There will also be ample opportunity to ask questions and make sure you can relate the content to your own photography.

The format of a live call means that unlike listening to a recording, your tutor can tailor the conversation for everyone, make sure everyone is understanding and provide an opportunity for delegates to ask any specific questions as we move through the sessions content.

This course is focused on creative ideas and as such the equipment we are using is not too important. The content will reference all levels of camera from smart phones to top mirrorless systems but if you have any concerns about the camera you are using to shoot pictures, just get in touch.
